WHAT IS ARMORED COMBAT?
Armored Combat Worldwide (ACW) is a full-contact competition where men and women fight in medieval armor with blunted steel weapons. Competitions include various one-on-one and team combat formats. Single combat is judged by counting legal hits, while team combat, typically 5-on-5, ends when fighters are down or only one remains standing. ACW emphasizes safety, continuously updating rules to minimize injuries.
