Ian “Silverback” Butler is a professional MMA welterweight and Bellator veteran known for clear, high-tempo coaching that transfers to MMA and BJJ. He competes at 170 lbs (5'10", 73" reach) and owns a pro record of 8–6–0 (1 NC). Ian is the head coach at Silverback Wrestling and serves as a California National Team coach, developing athletes for elite competition. His clinics emphasize smart hand-fighting, clean entries, high-percentage finishes, and reliable ride/return sequences—broken into simple progressions and situational reps so athletes can use them immediately. He’s also active in youth mentorship through his club and media appearances.
